An International Conference on Engineering, Technology, and Education
27 Nov – 1 Dec 2023 Auckland, New Zealand
TALE, an international conference on engineering, technology, and education is the IEEE Education Society’s premier conference series in the Asia-Pacific region. It aims to provide a forum for scholars and practitioners to share their knowledge and experience in engineering and technology education, as well as in technology-enabled educational innovation across a variety of academic and professional disciplines. The target audience of the conference is diverse and includes those working in the higher education, vocational education and training (VET), K-12, corporate, government and healthcare sectors.
TALE is held in December each year in the Asia-Pacific region (IEEE Region 10), complementing the other events in the IEEE Education Society’s suite of conference offerings, including Frontiers in Education in North America (IEEE Regions 1–7), EDUCON in Europe/Middle East/Africa (IEEE Region 8), and EDUNINE in Latin America (IEEE Region 9).
Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements. Content loaded into IEEEXplore is made available by IEEE to its abstracting and indexing partners, including Elsevier (Scopus, Ei Compendex), Clarivate Analytics (CPCI—part of Web of Science) and others, for potential inclusion in their respective databases.
The conference is organized jointly by the IEEE Education Society, IEEE Region 10, and IEEE NZ North section, and hosted by the University of Auckland.
Auckland, New Zealand's largest city, offers world-class conference facilities, spectacular landscapes and city sophistication that will leave conference attendees with unforgettable experiences.
New Zealanders are known for being friendly and welcoming: the traditional Māori spirit of manaakitanga (hospitality and generosity) is just as significant today.
